Dr. Jason Schneider, MD is board-certified in General Surgery and has completed advanced training in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. He is experienced in performing a broad spectrum of surgeries, including minimally invasive thoracoscopic and laparoscopic surgeries, which allow for quicker recovery times and smaller incisions. Dr. Schneider specializes in procedures related to the lungs, esophagus, thymus, and aorta, and also performs dialysis access surgery and general laparoscopic surgeries such as hernia repairs and gallbladder removals. He practices out of our surgical suite in West Islip and is affiliated with Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center
