Dr. Salvatore Trazzera, MD, MBA, FACC, FACP, FASNC, FSCCT, RPVI is a board-certified cardiologist with over 30 years of experience in clinical cardiology and advanced noninvasive cardiovascular imaging, including cardiovascular ultrasound, nuclear stress testing, and cardiac CT. He specializes in sports and exercise cardiology, caring for athletes of all ages with or at risk for cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Trazzera emphasizes early disease detection, prevention, and lifestyle-based care, including personalized assessments of nutrition, exercise, and cardiometabolic health. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, and Internal Medicine, and credentialed in Cardiovascular Ultrasound.

Beginning in late summer 2025, Dr. Trazzera will join Long Island Comprehensive Medical Care, where he will treat patients across all practice locations.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Trazzera enjoys spending time with his son, owns Ragazzi Italian Kitchen and Bar in Nesconset, NY, and is active in youth sports through his ownership of a local sports arena and involvement with student-athlete development. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, skiing, and cheering for New York’s major sports teams.
